Very informative. Lovely walks through woodland and alongside streams and pools.
Fab for families but you do have to pay to go into the farm and play area but the Abby is free to walk around bit to expensive to go in and see the animals and play in the play area.Cafe is good reasonably priced carrot cake is fab homemade delicious seating area inside and outside .But please watch out when there with children there's some dog walkers that don't clean up after there pooches just watch where you walk not all the time but just depends on who is walking there dogs before you you go .There's some amazing things to see when you take take a walk up the valley you can see old Mills and housesFeed the swans and ducks in the ponds .
I live near hear.... Great place for walks
Its just such a good place for a nice calming walk.
Abbey ruins you can explore free of charge. Nice cafe, not always open. And through the gift shop into green fields theres a farm and historic buildings, that part is not free but not too expensive. Our eldest loved it when she was 3yrs.
